General description
Lead is an excellent shielding against electromagnetic radiation (gamma and X-rays) due to its density of 11.33 g/cm3, high atomic number, degree of stability and also because it is so easy to work with. From an economic point of view, its availability and cost make it very attractive in comparison with other elements of similar density.
In many cases, the weight of the lead shielding requires a specific solution that ensures stability. At Amat Metalplast, we are aware of this need and this is why we have the necessary means to give you this support. We create designs according to our client’s instructions with the aim of defining and ensuring the needs of every single project.
Design of structures
In close cooperation with the client, we design the necessary structures to support the pieces of lead. The economic proposal is accompanied by such other plans and drawings as are necessary to describe the works.
Delivery time
Delivery times vary according to each project , usually 4 to 6 weeks.
